When God flooded the world all the animals on earth died including people. But the creatures of the sea and Noah together with his family were spared. God purified the world and destroyed all that was evil within it. Noah acted unquestioningly trusting completely in God’s grace. He never questioned how he would undertake such a huge project, how it would be paid for or how he would gather up all the creatures, never mind the supplies he would require for the duration of the flood!

We have to trust in the same way. We also have to be cleansed: “He will baptise you with water and with fire”. When it comes to the final judgement we will be judged by the fruits we have produced during our life time and in order to produce good fruit we have to do God’s will and to do that, we have to trust like Noah, that he will see to the detail and keep our enemies at bay.
