I am old enough to remember that great boxer and sometime poet, Casius Clay who later changed his name to Muhammed Ali. I recall a verse:
‘Flies like a butter, stings like a bee,
I am the greatest and my name is Ali!
Of course, if you see him now, he is suffering with Parkinson’s desease and struggles to do many of the things he did in his boxing career.
At the last supper, the disciples were quarreling over who was the greatest among them, who would have first place in the Kingdom of Heaven. What was Jesus’ reaction? He got down on his knees, washed their feet and wiped them with a towel.
“How few there are who ever fight for the towel.”
